Women’s Starting Block (SAS Féminin) at Cyclotour du Leman

Join Cycling Heidi around Lake Geneva for the 2025 Cyclotour du Léman

22nd edition of the Cyclotour – May 25, 2025

In 2024, Lillie, aka Cycling Heidi, enabled a group of about 40 women to successfully make their way around lake Geneva in a welcoming, reassuring and fun environment.

Back by popular demand, Lillie will lead a new group of women who are looking for good company, no time-targets, and most importantly, to have a nice day out on the bike!

The challenge of riding around lake Geneva is a must for many cyclists, regardless of their level. The aim of the Women’s starting block and peloton is to make touring the lake more accessible to those who are up to the challenge but are not in it to race!

The Women’s Starting Block (Sas féminin) is for:

  • women who can average 25-28km/h and aren’t afraid to stop for refreshments
  • beginners or cyclists not motivated by a time limit
  • those who want to learn to ride better in a group

Participation is free to all Cyclotour participants. However you must sign up to join the group!

Skill clinics and social rides

There’s no better method of shaking out the pre-race jitters than with a pre-race ride. And why not add a bit of skill training at the same time ?

A Swiss Cycling-certified guide, Lillie also runs “skill clinics”: workshops where beginner and intermediate cyclists can perfect their technique to gain more confidence and enjoyment on the bike. Techniques like riding in a group, braking, turning, and descending are not natural gifts, they have to be learned!

In 2024, she organized workshops in collaboration with Fast & Female, Alpes Vaudoises, La Reine, Morges Bike Ladies, PSWCC and Ride Rawr, helping hundreds of women develop their technique and overcome their fears and inhibitions on the bike.
